Passive and active studying are a continuum of the learning process. Passive studying gets a bad rep, but it is an excellent method to "survey" the materials. Some medical students feel - falsely - confident with the materials they just passively studied. BTW, videos and lectures are forms of passive studying.

Passive studying is the exposure to the materials. Some information is retained. Active studying is analyzing, questioning, explaining it in your own words, and engaging with the information. Then to retain information, you need to review them.

This website does not guarantee active studying or better scores. It is a tool, and its use depends on you!
